A bit about me
My love of computers started in 1981 when I started computer science lessons at school.
1982 saw a turning point when I received a ZX81 computer from my parents for my birthday. This made me want to learn more, especially the programming side of things. I wrote quite a few programs, mainly games, some of which were submitted to magazines, (only one ever got published though).
In 1984 I sold the ZX81 to a work colleague and never touched a personal computer again until I bought my first pc in 1998, (I had maintained usage of computers in various jobs though).
It was not long after owning a modern computer that I realised they were prone to attacks of all sorts, especially when connected to the internet, this prompted me to learn about protecting them and keeping them clean from all sorts of everyday clutter, hence the Clean & Protected site. As time went on, I decided to include other software that could make peoples computing easier and faster (and free of course, because for every paid for software, there is a free alternative out there).
All the other sites followed so that I could try different ways of creating sites, such as using frames (Clean & Protected (now Get It, see My Sites for an explanation) had frames to start with, I will never go back to using them), tables and most recently CSS.
All my sites are now created using free CSS templates that can be found on the internet, I don't create my own because I have absolutely no design flair, so I find one that looks good and then totally adapt it to suit how I want my site to be.
